espérer sisters started with an idea to make candles that give back. Two sisters, Bobbi & Kathy, decided to give back to groups that advocate for those with mental health conditions since our father has schizophrenia. Currently, we donate a portion of each candle purchased to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Each candle is hand poured in either Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Minneapolis, Minnesota. No giant corporation here. :)

We source the majority of our ingredients from other small businesses to share the love:

• Boxes: Each time we purchase boxes, a tree gets planted! We are excited to support other businesses that also give back. The company also tries to purchase recycled materials when possible.

• Wax - Our wax is produced from soybeans grown here in America. Soy wax is a plant based wax that is renewable, clean-burning, biodegradable, and free from animal-derived ingredients.

• Fragrances - A portion of our fragrances come from a local fragrance company. We enjoyed dropping in to smell all the amazing scents prior to the pandemic!
